The BIG CLIMB for CLIC Sargent is happening tomorrow, Thursday 6th June. We are off to the Brecon Beacons in Wales tomorrow for our mountain climb challenge up to the flat top of Crug Hywel, locally known as Table Mountain. All of Key Stage 2 are persevering to the top, 451 metres above sea level (that’s 1480 foot) and hopefully enjoying the amazing views between periods of rain and drizzle!
Please can you ensure children have a waterproof coat as there is every chance they will need it, plus trainers or walking boots – no wellies as they cause bad blisters!
They need to wear comfortable clothing (non uniform). All children will need a packed lunch and plenty of water, so also a rucksack to carry all their belongings in. Let’s see how much we can raise to help CLIC Sargent charity. Thank you to those who have already brought in their donations. Sponsor money in for Friday 7th please.
Arrival time back to school tomorrow is 5pm, we will text you if this changes due to hold ups/traffic.
