Writing Competition!

Nailsworth Primary School children have an exciting opportunity to enter a writing competition. Many KS2 children have entered a similar competition before by ‘Young Writers,’ having their work published in a book! KS1 can now enter too!

As the closing date is 24th July, we ask for entries to be submitted by 3rd July. Teachers will choose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd from their class, then the school will post the entries onwards to ‘Young Writers’ with the hope of having their work published!

Reception can also take part in the writing along with KS1 and 2. The topic is ‘Silly School’, and we would like the children to write up to 50 words describing a silly school. The teachers could be aliens, school could be an underwater school or children have to come to school in their pyjamas. There are endless ideas. Have a go and take the challenge.
