This half term, year 1 will be focusing on natural resources and how the natural resources in their local area they have been used in the past.
As part of their focus on Cotswold Wool, they will be receiving a very special visit from some woolly creatures and they and will be making wool decorations to adorn an Easter tree that they will create and gift to St Georges Church.
Year 1 will also be taking part in weekly forest school sessions where they will be using the natural resources around them to create sculptures, water filtration systems and plant tonics.
In R.E., they will be learning all about how Jewish people live and they will be preparing Challah bread as part of their learning about Shabbat dinner.
