Y5’s Experience Easter!

Year 5 were lucky enough to head to church today where Reverend Caroline was kind enough to organise a really lovely day. We experienced the stations of the cross all around the church, this gave the children an excellent opportunity to recap and learn the Easter story. Each station was ably presented by the lovely volunteers at church, who all made each station such a lovely experience. Following the stations of the cross, the children took part in a lovely craft exercise where they made beautiful crosses depicting bible stories. We really do owe Reverend Caroline and the volunteers at church an enormous and heartfelt thank you. It should be understood that the children responded to the lovely activities in such a positive way. Each and every one of them represented school admirably. What a lovely day!
