From Wigwams to Telephones!

Last week, Year 4 had a workshop based on the importance of trees and looking after our local area. It was delivered by Richard and Rachel who work alongside Nailsworth Town Council.

We created wigwams using natural (and man made!) material collected from our nature area.

We then went to water some newly planted cherry trees across the road from school. As a school, we will be responsible for caring for these trees as they grow.

In Science this week, continuing our topic on Sound, we made string telephones to explore how sound can travel. We had fun trying them out in the playground.
