Inclusion

We are incredibly proud of our commitment to Inclusion. Driven by our Christian vision 'Together we rise, we learn, we love, abundantly' , part of the schools strategic planning for improvement is to develop cultures, policies and practices that include all learners.

We aim to foster a sense of community and belonging, and to offer new opportunities to all our learners, including those who may have previously experienced difficulties. This does not mean that we will treat all learners in the same way, but that we will respond to learners in ways which take account of their varied life experiences and needs.

We believe that educational inclusion is about equal opportunities for all learners, whatever their age, gender, ethnicity, impairment, attainment and background.

The school has a Thrive/Inclusion room for pupils to access Pastoral/SEMH support throughout the day. We also have 'The Sunny Room' and 'The Learning Bubble'- two further Inclusion Rooms which can be used for small group intervention.

We have a Therapy Dog called Beau who visits our setting on a regular basis.

Together we rise, we learn, we love, abundantly.
