"The Gloucestershire Agreed Syllabus for RE has a threefold aim:
1. Make sense of a range of religious and non-religious beliefs.
2. Understand the impact and significance of religious and non-religious beliefs.
3. Make connections between religious and non-religious beliefs, concepts, practices and ideas studied.” Gloucestershire Agreed Syllabus p.8
Parents have the right to withdraw their child from “RE lessons or any part of the RE Curriculum” p.9 Gloucestershire Agreed Syllabus. Parents are informed of this via our RE policy which is available on the website. They can withdraw their child by discussing their views with the Head Teacher and alternative provision will be provided.
