Picasso to Steam Trains this week in year 5

Selina – “I really enjoyed art because we were painting the clay portrait faces that we made. We used Picasso as inspiration for our artwork. Mine looked really colourful and i was happy with the face I made!”

Amber – “I enjoyed history this week because we were learning about steam trains and how they changed over time. Did you know the Mallard steam train still has the world speed record of 128mph! Fast hey?!”

Bella – “I loved doing my English work this week because we have been writign poetry all about Nailsworth for the 3 Storeys art comeptition. We did a class assembly where we shared our poems with the rest of the school. I made a rhyming poem about the whole town of Nailsworth.”
